The Town @ Trilith

The Town @ Trilith

Jul 09, 2022Sandra McFarland

Trilith. A town I hadn’t heard of this time last year, but one that would ultimately steal my heart. I love this special place for a million reasons, but there is one that stands out among all the rest.

While I was naturally drawn to the greater vision of this place; it is the people of Trilith who have captured my heart.

Since arriving in March, I have come to realize the people who live in (and around) the town of Trilith are some of the most extraordinary people I’ve ever met;  diverse, intelligent, witty, compassionate, and fun.

It is rare to discover such an inclusive and engaged community. When I walk around the neighborhood, I’m greeted with passerby conversations; smiling faces, and waves from patios and balconies.

I’m telling you….even cars that drive by will wave through the window.

Starting a new business, in a new town, in a new state….has had its challenges. What I say to my closest friends is “this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, times 10!”. But, the support and encouragement I’ve received from this community has outweighed any hardship.

I could fill the page with a list of names of people who have been supportive with stories to match; encouragement that came at just the right moment, a hand to help (quite literally), a place to call home for a season, an invitation, a kindness. Thank you my dear friends. You’ve made the beginning of a new venture so very special.

Among the special people I have met, Carmine Noce is right at the top of the list. He is one of the owners of ENZO, the new Italian Steakhouse opening in Trilith in August. The very first time I met Carmine, he greeted me with the warmest smile and most sincere conversation. Since then, he’s been one of the business owners I spend time with; leaning into him for advice, brainstorming, and certainly encouragement. We share similar values surrounding the customer experience and team building. When we started planning this Grand Opening Event, I just knew I wanted Carmine to be a part of it.

Meet Carmine, his lovely wife Courtney – and co-owners Andrea Montobbio and David Gibbs. These are some of my favorite pics, taken at a recent Rooftop Event in Trilith.

This week, as we prepare for the Grand Opening of 180 Pure Home – we’ll be showing some ‘behind the scenes’ footage from our buildout, and from the ENZO team. Follow along on Instagram each day – and hope to see you Saturday in person!

With much love, and a grateful heart.    XO Sandra
