Why We Love Estelle Colored Glass

The 180 Pure Home philosophy is centered around the love of home and table, so  it was no surprise that we fell head over heels for Estelle Glass. Similar to our love of family, home and entertaining, and appreciation for family traditions, is founder Stephanie Hall’s passion for vintage glassware.

“In Stephanie Hall’s youth, afternoons spent treasure hunting with her grandmother in Holly Hill, S.C., often yielded sparkling hauls of vintage glassware in colors like emerald green and amber.

“All of these trips were about finding beautiful and unique things and then having a place to showcase them,” Ms. Hall, 45 said. Her grandmother Estelle Summerson Williams would display found objects and family heirlooms in two china cabinets. She also loved to entertain guests.”

Stephanie named the collection in honor of her grandmother, Estelle, who she describes as “a jewel of a person that instilled in me an appreciation of the pastime of treasure hunting for beautiful finds — especially for the kitchen which was the heart of her home.”
